Beyond Ecru
with Peggy Doney
In this workshop we'll go over the basics of how acid dyeing works and get our hands wet (in gloves) exploring a variety of techniques that you can use at home when you have some plain yarn begging to be a different color.
Acid dyeing is often assumed to be a harsh method using strong chemicals, but 'acid' simply refers to any acidic medium - including lemon juice, household vinegar, etc.
