Wet Felted Bird

Ready to greet you any time of day, this Funky Bird proudly stands on wool lined wire legs. You will decorate the body as you wish and learn how to make the wings able to "fly". Once dry you can easily stuff it and stitch up the belly. There will be standing with good upper body movement involved.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to Advanced
WHAT TO BRING: Bath towel, plastic bag for finished project. Scissors, pen, paper for notes. Bring an apron if you don't want your clothes to get too wet, non-slip shoes are recommended.
MATERIALS INCLUDED: Wool, viscose and other embellishments, shammy, netting, scissors. Kit containing: Variety of colored merino fiber, viscose & other embellishments, shammy, netting, resist material, bubble wrap, plastic sheeting, pre-made bird feet.
MATERIALS FEE: $50 payable to the instructor.

We are delighted to have Ellen teach for us this year. She is well-known as a raku ceramist and accomplished felter who teaches across the East Coast and online. Ellen is a past President of the North East Feltmakers Guild, and currently runs their education programs.
